Ardara Sideboard

The ocean is experienced as an ever – changing, dynamic element. It is constantly transforming itself creating diverse patterns, colours and textures. Wind on the ocean creates ripples, currents etch patterns on the water’s surface and waves erode sand forming unique contours. Inspired by these contrasting effects this contemporary sideboard focuses on an exploration of texture. The doors and drawers were sandblasted to expose the natural grain creating the effect of erosion. The combination of textures, smooth and sandblasted, create a unique tactile and visual experience.
